Trusted Referrals

The quality of our relationships dictates our quality of life.

A glimpse into how I work:

My style is warm, nurturing, and honest. I take time to earn trust and develop safety. I am not a “nod and validate” therapist. I trust in my clients’ wisdom and intuition, helping them locate more of their own voice. However, I believe that actively challenging my clients allows for the most growth.

Individual Therapy

I specialize in working with women who yearn for a more trusting, embodied relationship with themselves and others.

My clients are women who feel that enough is enough. They want freedom from anxiety, from feeling like they need to seek approval from others. They’ve been in a cycle of anxiety, depression, poor body image, and escapism for far too long — and it’s not their fault. It’s much larger than them.

These are women who struggle to be in their bodies, and instead find themselves disconnected and living from the neck up. These women suffer from ancestral, cultural, and collective trauma — not to mention their own lived experiences.

I provide a space for discovery and healing so that you can get clear on what you actually want instead.

Things like: Thriving relationships. Liberation. A confident voice. Feeling good in your own skin. Pleasure, purpose, and joy!

Couples Therapy

I work with couples who long for a more trusting, embodied, and connected relationship.

The couples I work best with are interested in doing their own work. While it can be tempting to think our partner is “the problem,” — what’s most often accurate is that we co-create the issues in our relationships. We participate in the dynamics, informed by a slew of conscious and unconscious factors dating back to our youngest selves.

As Dr. Sue Johnson put it: “The drama of love is all about this hunger for safe emotional connection, a survival imperative we experience from the cradle to the grave.”

I approach this work with hopes of achieving 1) greater honesty and transparency on both sides and 2) increased empathy and understanding of each other. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy, attachment theory, Gottman Couples Therapy and the work of Terry Real and Esther Perel.
